The Focus Trainer NPC will allow you to unlock Advanced Focus Training which is required in order to gain access to additional skill tree upgrade nodes in each tree. Completing this quest will completely renovate the mechanic for Black Flashing and Chanting.
He is located at Jujutsu High, behind the Clan Head on the large building.
You are able to switch back to the old Black Flash/Chanting system by speaking to this NPC after completion and selecting the “Help Me Forget” option. Doing this will cause you to lose access to the additional skill tree nodes, however. Speak to the NPC again after disabling it if you want it back.
Questline
You are first tasked to select which type of woman is your type. Upon selecting the correct response, you will proceed with the training.
The second thing you will be asked is to retrieve 10 Demon Fingers and bring them back to the NPC.
Lastly, you will begin your sparring session. He will request that you land 3 Black Flashes on Best Friend in order to complete your training. Upon doing so, you will unlock Advanced Focus.
