Pity Interruption Mechanics Explained
Unlike lower-tier banners, Vanguard rarity possesses a "one-time use" hard pity mechanic. If you are extremely lucky and pull a Vanguard unit before hitting the 25,000 mark, your pity counter is immediately flagged as Pity Reached. It will not reset back to 0 on the same banner, meaning you cannot farm multiple copies using the safety net of the pity system on the same banner instance.
Winter Event Banners
During special events like the Winter Banner, costs are heavily modified. Vanguard units drop to a 20,000 pull pity (costing 3,000,000 Event Tokens instead of Gems), and Vanguard Memoria drops to 15,000 pulls.
